Overwhelm.

When it comes to overwhelm, most of us simply shut down. Do you sometimes get overwhelmed thinking about all of the things you need to do but haven’t tackled?

Instead of feeling disappointed with yourself, simply sit down and write a list of all of the things you have accomplished. Then give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done. Rather than getting stuck in the disappointment of overwhelm, bring some joy into your life by congratulating yourself for the progress you have made. You are close to a multitude of blessings.

The obstacles simply serve to remind you that you are on course. Life’s many experiences add up to the whole sum. Like a recipe – a little of this, a dash of that, a sprinkle of another. Relish each experience as a gift from God.

Action Item:  Get out a piece of paper and start writing your list of accomplishments. You are magnificent and I think you simply need a gentle reminder of God’s gifts to you.

In His Hands: But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. - Isaiah 40:31
